Kidepo Valley National Park in northeastern Uganda is home to more than 475 species of birds including endemic birds, savannah birds and migratory birds making it one of the best birding destinations in the entire country. Allow your eyes to be dazzled by their iridescence, their magnitude, their texture and their sounds. A number of these species are quite rare or even endangered. This makes Kidepo a truly fascinating place to see so many varieties of birds in one area. Look out for species like yellow-rumped seed eater, pygmy falcon, the kori bustard, African swallow-tailed kite and many more.
