Game drives in Murchison Falls National Park are worth every effort. In fact, we wouldn’t consider other destinations until we had spent at least a few days here. The landscape changes so much with each step you take—from the feathery green of the riverine forest to the vast savannah, which stretches out as far as the eye can see. Seeing elephants in the wild over the course of several game drives is the perfect way to spend a day at Murchison Falls National Park. If possible, go for a morning game drive to experience sunrise and this will enable you to see the park wake up. You will get to see giraffes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, jacksons hartebeest and many more. Night game drives give you a once in a lifetime opportunity to see bushbabies, leopards civets, genets as they come out of their hiding.
