The Rwenzori Mountains. This looks like where creation started, for sure. Trek up the glaciers and peaks and look down into heaven. Then hike through ancient forests to lakes so clear that you barely believe they can exist here on Earth. Walk around freely as if you own the entire place! Nature is your playground. From a distance, the rock formation looks like a serpentine river snaking across the sand and into the horizon. The mountaintops are certainly impressive, but the beauty of this place is even more so below. Trek to the top of the highest peaks in Uganda and the third highest in Africa. Get a glimpse at an indigenous way of life above the clouds, it’s like walking on the Alps, but don’t forget, you are in the pearl of Africa a few miles from the equator. Clamber up rolling hillsides beneath towering silhouettes of rock and ice. Then, return to the green valleys strewn with coffee plantations and tea gardens below. The mission is simple; Go mountain climbing to get a view of the world from up on high. Then come down to Earth.
