Wildlife viewing in the Rwenzori Mountains national park is stunning. The park is notably known for its three-horned chameleon, an endemic species found in few places around the world. The park offers the most incredible views of the lakes within and a high density of trees, other unique vegetation and animal life. At the edge of the mountain, the savannah grasslands support plant life not found anywhere else. Mammals species include blue monkeys, golden cats, red duiker, forest elephants, Rwenzori colobus, Rwenzori climbing mouse and many more.
