Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is best known for its Mountain Gorilla populations and gorilla tracking. This park is one of the few places in the world where the endangered mountain gorillas live and it attracts people from different countries around the world.
There are only 700 mountain gorillas remaining on earth. Only 8 visitors are allowed to view the gorillas for one hour per day, participants must be aged 15 or over. and they will be accompanied by UWA guides while with the Gorillas.
Your destination today is the extraordinary. You will be picked up by our tour guide from the hotel after an early morning breakfast. It is at this time that you will be briefed about your travelling.
If this is your first visit to Uganda you may feel overwhelmed by the number of sights you will see along the way with panoramic views for the chance to see Mountain Gorillas.
Feel free to stop the tour guide at whatever point to embrace the landscape and take pictures. Later, you will stop and visit the equator to take photos, also feel free to buy some crafts as souvenirs.
From here you will travel further and arrive at your accommodation where you will check in. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your hotel as you prepare for a thrilling experience of Mountain Gorilla Tracking the following day.
After an early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the park rangers about what to do and not to do while in the the heavily forested, rugged mountains of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, also you will be divided in group of 8. After continue and start off gorilla trekking these gentle giants as directed by the rangers.
Today is one of those days where you will want to have your camera battery charged, and ready to go as you head out deep into the jungle for the chance to see Mountain Gorillas.
This activity can take 2 hours or even up to 8 hours since its dependent on the location and movement of the gorillas.
On meeting the gorillas you will spend one hour with them as you take photos.
Later, you will return back to the lodge and with the rest of your free afternoon you may wish to take part in an optional experience to see more of the region, you may choose to relax at the lodge or you may want to get up close and personal with the Batwa community which will expose you to their culture and way of living.
This morning, we depart travelling back to Kampala through Mbarara, this attractive city presents great options for sight seeing as we wind up the tour before arriving at your hotel late afternoon.
